Hey chaps,


Looking for some bucket seats for my Defender but to get an idea of me budget I need to know how much my current seats would be worth.


Both Ex-Moor trim Techno Grey, both in exellent condition no cuts, tears or ware. They actually look almost new, the runners are a bit old though.


Also got a set of rear bench seats both Ex-Moor techo grey, almost brand new.


How much they worth?

It certainly was with a question like that. ;)

Look how much they are new, then think about how good yours are then subtract the amount your prepared to lose on them.

Oh and then take 20% off because the seller always thinks things are worth more than they really are. ;)

Are they just standard seats in good nic?
 
What I call the 'F*ck You' Tax...

Yeah both seats look brand new, where proffessionally reupholstered about months ago. Foam underneath is also in very good nick.

Only bad points are that the rails are a little old and could do with a proper clean up.


Ideally id like about £150 odd each.

So why ask the qs when u already know what u want them??
 
Because they may be worth more or less than what I want. They could sell for £300 for the pair or £100...

Hence why im asking..

How old are they?

How many miles on the seats?

How badly stained with spunk ? or coffee,tea,pop, stains

smoker?

any wet dogs been on them?
 
Seats themselves 10 years rails etc.. , foam and trim 5 months.

No soiling, no damage, no smoke, never wet, no dogs. bout 2k miles on the foam/trim, 70k on the rest.

So bout £150 for the pair sound good?

I only paid £150 for a pair of rear forward facing exmoor trim seats on eblag like new with seat belts an mounts

So I don't think you will get £150 each for front seats IMO

But stick em on eBay it's full of idiots who love paying over the odds
 
a single rear cover in techno is £26inc vat from Rimmerbros. can't see a base been any more? so £50quid max to buy the covers and retrim ya self. where did you get the other £100 from. A complete retrim kit. thas new foams and covers for a pair of seats is about £130. still way short of the £300 you seem to think they are worth.
 
£150 sounds a lot when you can buy a full re-trim kit For £140 and two 10 year old frames wouldn't cost that much.
