Had the logbook through the other day for my 1982 ser 3 and to my amazement it has had 15 owners in its 29 yr life  just wondered if this was the norm lol.

1977 ser 3 has had 7 former keepers, 1979 ser 3, 7 former keepers and 1970 ser 2a has had 6 former keepers.

1993 and I'm the 14th owner ... excessive or what?

Does it look anything like this:

bought - stolen - recovered - stolen - recovered - stolen - recovered - written off - re-built - stolen - recovered

1987 - im the third owner and a rake of history from the same local garage .. I ken the previous owner well and he knew the owner before that .

That's the sort of history that most of us can only dream of, for any car, any age.
:D

aye dogsbody - at the time i didnt really think about how rare that **** is on a landy . but for that reason alone ive decided to keep it - i was gonna sell it and buy a 2/300 TDI in the summer but it wouldnt be the same it was my first landy n all that and i know its legit and straight.

Series 3 88', imported with 19 previous owners, I'm no 20. The poor old boy (my girls decided its male for some reason) is nearly ready to roll again after sympathetic resoration. Bring on the snow!

Similar situation here but mines a '68 IIa. I'm the 3rd keeper, previous owner is a work colleague & he gave me a load of history (but sadly not back to the beginning, only about 15 years worth). He is also a friend of the family of the first owner.

That could be some kind of a record, for the Jag. I have a 1980 Range Rover I've had over 7 years, and I'm her 7th owner. :);)

I had gone through numerous owners who brought it as a project then seemed to instantly sell it as soon as they received the v5 back. I finished it to mot standard then sold it myself

4th owner since 1965 - 1st was BT (GPO), 2nd was some chap that decided to cut the rear bulk head out and strip all the trim out of it - it was a station wagon. 3rd was the bloke I bought it from. That was in 1992. I tried to call him the other day just to tell him that its still going. No luck though.
