I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer to the above so I just wondere dif anyone knew roughly how many series 3s and earlier were left, maybe info from the dvla or something?

Another forum I am on did a listing for triumphs a few years ago and it was scary how fast numbers were dwindling......especially the early ones

yule be struggling to get an accurate figure as a lot of them will be soley used on private land and any trace of paperwork long lost.

well you've got 4 and i've got 3 o the bastard things so thats 7, there's a start. i'll start goin through the phone book and knockin on doors to ask folk if they've got any give me a few years and i'll post the findings ;)

If we knew someone at the dvla a list of the registered ones would be a start....maybe not worth it for the newer ones series 3s etc, but series ones are pretty old now (and I guess may also be the lightest on paperwork)

Well i got 1.5 and there are at least 4 more down my road (Only counting series).
I heard somewhere 70% of all the Landys ever made are still on the road somewhere.
Well up to 1985 for the series’s (1,2,3 and variation’s) there was 1,367,874 made
so that would be cir 97511.8

ps own up who’s got the 0.3 then?:D

It will be difficult to track every last Landy. As already said, I'm sure there are many unregistered vehicles being used on private land. And then there are all the ones that went abroad. Good luck.

wasn't really interested in tracking every last one, numbers registered in the UK would have been close enough, just as a guideline really.

If theres 70% left thats my conscience clear for breaking two to make one :)

I have got about .7 of one :D

So who has the other .6 :D

i reckon I have .5 of one whole and .25 of a couple of others......After a three year absence (and now living in a different house) from series 3's I'd forgotten how much space a few spares take up!

there's at least 6 in Byfleet and Addlestone. I saw a 3 series with hi capacity back at 1.35pm this afternoon on M25 between J10 and J11.
tom.
