Hi Admin.
I put forward a how2 for the benefit of members last night. Well, early hrs of morning :( and have been looking to see if its ok'd today but nothing up yet.
Just wondered how long this will usually take on this site as am only used to timings on another.

Thanks.

Blimmey.
No wonder there's hardly any how2's in here then.
On the other car site i belong to they have loads and if you put one forward in the eve, its normally on site to view by early afternoon on following day.

It only took me 2hrs to do. :(:monitor_punch:

no, just be nice to see it actually in a position where it can be used when you do put some effort into doing something.
not a lot to ask i think.
people, not a dig this, but people are quick to tell new members to do searches for answers before posting loads of questions, and you have to agree with them, but some members (me included) don't necessarily understand some of the lingo and when i need to look something up, as i do on another site i belong to, i always turn to the 'how2' section as there you find good, helpful and often idiot proof explanations with pictures.
I took the time to do this to add to an otherwise fairly empty section, and it seems that there is very little appreciation from admin when it cant even be viewed and ok'd promptly or a pm to tell me why it's not ok, if that may be the case, so i can adjust.

Beyond that, i couldn't care less if my name was put to it or not and i am already looking to do others, or was.

Sorry if this sounds like a childs rant but i think it's justified for the benefit of the site.

Defender 90/ 110/ 130

Surely that is the right section. Pretty obvious place to put it.

If not.. where!!

come on lads i see hawke666 is trying to give something back to the forum dont kick him give him a hand
now who else will do the same ??

it was changing over the transfer box on my 90.
unfortunately the replacement is noisy so got to do all again now.

just thought i would do some pics etc and get something up on the how i did it including some of the easy mistakes to avoid.

oil leaking from inside gear box/engine bell housing now so going to take whole lot out and do it all again.

bummer.
