Have only ever had one puncture in 28 years of motoring and that was in the Landy on my drive so can't really complain - although I did when it took me about 8 hours spaced over 2 days to change the bloody thing and then found out I had home cover from the AA so they'd have done it for me

I had front left puncture b********y great screw through it had to be replaced, a week later half way across a major junction a very load hiss, new tyre another screw. At least it was repairable this time. There are a lot of double glazing companies in the area, I've had two through the motorcycle tyres too that can be interesting!! This was about 5 years ago, before the depression as things start going again I wouldn't be surprised if it happened more often.

I find that landy tyres have thicker lugs and walls so are more resistant, I dont carry a spare as I need the tub space and my spare is 2 inches lower than my bfgs

If you'd just 'nipped out', the you weren't really 'out out', so the Mrs should have been Ok with that :)

There is a difference between nipping and seeing a friend and driving an hour up to doncaster spending 2 hours chatting, having a blow out with no spare, having to get some1 bring you one, then driving home to get pulled up by a police car 3 miles from home for having no lights (second time i got pulled in a week) and all on new years eve....

She wasn't best pleased!

But to be honest she still doesnt know i brought a new bumper for my 90 hehe

It is honest, your neighbours told me last time I came around lol!!

And no, i don't carry a spare as i haven't drove mine since april lol, although i do have a spare ready to put in when she's done!!

Forward planning, Good to here it :p
Didn't realize it'd been off the road that long.

 my neighbours would tell you that, But then they also think I'm running a business
Got a visit from the council last week to check up on me and make sure I wasn't.

What did you do? bundle the councillor into the garage, tie him up and make him promise not to tell? hehe!

I think you should start making vicious rumors up about them!

Haha, Nope, All went surprisingly well.
Said it's not the worst he's seen by a long shot and it doesn't look like I'm running a business.
Asked a few questions, Like what is the chassis at the side of the house for.
Just told him I can't afford to build it back up. Which I actually can't at the mo.
