I recently bought an '06 Tundra, Access Cab V8. I didn't buy it to wheel it
recreationally, but I'm still kind of curious what their reputation is, how
they do, what tends to break if you push them hard, etc. Mine has the
limited-slip rear diffy.

I traded a Wrangler TJ towards it, that I geared 4.10 and that had a LSD in
the front and rear differentials, and I wheeled that Jeep a fair amount. So
you could compare it to that as a reference point, or I also used to have an
old nissan 4x4, and I use a Land Cruiser ('95) as our family adventure rig,
so you could compare it to THAT since I've wheeled that vehicle a little.

At this point, my intent is to just put the Tundra in 4wd for emergencies,
ski trips, getting firewood out of my woods, etc. Not just to go out and
beat it around. I'm still curious to hear from anyone who HAS pounded on a
Tundra, though.
