Morning all - is there an easy way to determine if my 90 has been fitted with a lift kit? Its on 15" wheels but still looks high - im asking cos i want to fit some new shockers in the near future.
thanks
steve

what colour are your springs and shocks? are there spacers under the springs and what size tyres are you running?

Where did the 15" come from? 16" are standard Are you sure it's not just that the tiny wheels are making the gap in the wheel arches create the illusion of a lift?

I will have a look tonite and post reply - this is a pic of what it looked like when i bought it - all stickers now removed!!

That looks about right to me. If they're standard height spring there will be a couple of dabs of paint on each spring as this is how they are coded each front wheel has a different colour coding. and the backs are also coded but don't know if they're different for each back wheel.

As Red said looks about right.

Just done Alane's front and rear shocks and springs, fitted standard height Bearmach blue's front and rear and he's running on 265/75/16's

Here's a pic

Does it make it go faster up hills???

Does it heck, he's gone to Cornwall in it for the week so if you hear stories of long traffic jams it's him trying to drive up hills.

Hopefully the 200Tdi lump I have in the shed, which we will eventualy get fitted will make it a bit more pleasent to follow.

My tyres are 10.5 15 m/t. Cant find any marks on springs or shockers. Ive put a disco 200 tdi in with a rangie transfer box 1.22:1 - seems about right for the type of travelling i do
