Hey Miniman, 85 in a III? That's just CRUEL! They weren't oil leaks, they were tears!

& Slob, couldn't have been UK to France, you miss it & end up in Austria!

how did you know i was in austria???? i even found a place called ****ing near the german border. brings new meaning to 'thats some ****ing place'

What you had a 7.47 diff..... wow..

Ha ha funny....

I had to think about it at first but got it in the end.

No bull 85mph in my old diesel landy...

It will do it again aswell I have all the faith in my old besty...
But as we all say " These things take time.......! "

By the way this was before the other end of the M65. :)

Fortunately I don't have to do much motorway driving - which is good becasue I seem to be the slowest vehice on the road! :(

65 and you can watch the fuel gauge go down.

Anyone got a spare fifth gear they aren't using.

Can anyone answer the question as to why all Series owners wave to each other when they pass on the road - my partner finds it very amusing. :D
because deep down were all bikers

85mph in m S3 with the Parker V6, although the faster you go the more vague everything becomes:

- Steering
- Brakes
- Vehicles ability to stay in one piece
- Ring Piece Control

You get the idea, apparently it could go faster (I assume the previous owner mean't on the back of a deristricted low loader).

i can only get around 60 in my n/a 90. prob due to monster wheels and extra weight. the engine prob needs looking at too :(

ive done 110mph in the works T5 110's. coming back from abergavenny along the heads of the valley's road toward newport.

i do love how the T5 pull off the line, they are quick for a box. happy at 90 on the M4 although its not very relaxing.

Hay Griffdowg... your not the only one. I can just about manage 60mph, in my 2.5n/a too.

Our ex-mod 90 2.5 n/a can hit 70mph with the sankey trailer (empty) fitted as long as I'm on the flat. The slightest incline and it's like the handbrake is on. Once overtook a whole convoy of British Army landrovers on the A1 and got some suprised looks from them who must have though that I was one of them braking ranks!
