i've never heard a g/box go bong. i've heard them go crunch,crash,grind and even screech but never bong. i've even heard one that sounded more like a jukebox than a gearbox but never bong

ere you're not double de-clutching and banging yer foot on the floor or something daft like that...never bong.. gearboxes don't go bong

definately a bong - clutch goes to the floor with a clonk, then shift from 3rd, bong, into 4th, clunk, engage clutch, clunk as drive taken up.
