This has probably been answered before, I have a defender 90 200tdi and have just bought a full size intercooler. I want to increase the power by adjusting the fuel pump, does anyone know how to do this safely.
Cheers
Steve

I did that two days back and am still laughing from how bloody fast my 200 goes!! Like a stabbed rat.

I havent had a chance to check yet, but is it the same process for a manual gearbox 200tdi Defender.....most of those threads seem to relate to the auto box in discos running a 200tdi?

Yep exact same process... main reason people talk about the autos is because they're so bloody slow :D

Hahaha funny bastard!
Got a disco 200 tdi to in in the summer.
Just wondering if any similar mods? I'm not concerned about any bad long term effects as binning this engine.

Sits at 65 all day on motorway! I bought the tdi the same day I bought the 90 because everyone was saying the 19j was ****e. But it been great 180,000 miles on clock aswell.

You could have alot of fun with some nitro if you dont care about the engine. Would be funny to blast off the lights a few times.

Nice- like ya angle coa! Would love to see the face on a boy racer in a scooby or something as a rusty old 90 leaves him standing!

Only because the bloke in the scooby cant see through the smoke you are making ;-)

Seriously the 19J was a non-turbo engine (12J) and then a turbo thrown on (19J) they are not tuneable!! Or they blow
