ok so I'm trying to buy parts and you often see part for up to ja018272 or from ja018273
I guess this relates to the chasis number. I've checked mine and it doesnt seam to relate to the codes offered on paddocks. How do you use this?

my chasis code ends with ha477014, (i presume this is the relevent part)

Check this out Land Rover VIN Checker Land Rover One Ten: Land Rover One Ten Blog but to be easyer i can tell u that the parts u need are the "up to JA******" ones coz yours is 1991 MY (H = 1991) and the JA is 1992 (J =1992)......see the link
