The guy I bought my Freelander off had it valetted prior to me buying it. The dash is now exceedingly shiny and reflects in the windscreen! I assume it is some sort of silicon polish!

Is there any way I can remove it? Any products on the market?

Halford sell a product called "Elbow Grease" for removal of the polish. Remember to buy a lint free cloth also. Good luck.;)

saw some dashboard wipes in halfords ..
two types .. shiny or matt ..
i think they were the 'amour all' brand

Plain old good quality washing up liquid. Washing up liquid is designed as a de greaser and works a treat to remove silicone residue, use it neat then remove the excess with a damp cloth....sorted!
