Try to pull out F20 which feeds the interior lamps too and see what happens ,,,just be prepared for a big surpriseOr pull the fuse ...
Well it worked but the 40" plasma and lazy boy stopped working, dammit.Try to pull out F20 which feeds the interior lamps too and see what happens ,,,just be prepared for a big surprise
mine have small buttons (one per light) but that doesn't turn them off when doors are open, it just turns them on when they are shut (for passengers to read with or whatever). I think black tape or bulb removal look like the best options, thanks everyoneHi John, OK I said take the bulbs out but I have just been out to check my 3 roof lights in my 1999, D2 all have off switches so why does yours not???
You can do a trick which is not very hard, get to C0484/0102, cut the purple wire at pin 13 and insert a switch, any switch is good cos there's no big load... that's the permannent feed to the lamps so switched off they'll rest cos they are controlled on the earth path... there are cases when the wire is in other pin not 13 but it's the only pure purple one so you can't miss it

You have no ideea how the D2 is working IMODo they not have buttons in the door jams? If so tape them down..
Cars haven't had interior light switches in the door jams for over 30 years. All cars after the mid 80s started using switches in the door latch assemblies after then.Do they not have buttons in the door jams? If so tape them down..
