I would like to change the bite point on the clutch on my 1986 LR90. How do i do this? is it on the slave cylinder? master cylinder?

Neither of these are adjustable, what's the problem with the biting point? Is there any slack in the pedal before you feel the resistance of the clutch moving?

no, the bite point is right on the end of the pedal, and the clutch probably has the potential to slip

You can also rule out changing the clutch, cos it was replaced under 100kliks ago

Some take gearbox out, some take engine out.... Personal preference.

Is the biting point close to the floor or at the top?

If the biting point is right at the top of the pedal movement this won't have any effect, this is for adjusting the slack in the pedal before you meet any resistance in the hydrolics

I have tried that, but in my case it simply changed the height of the pedal. I want to change the biting point itself, which i cannot see a way of doing so..

Hydraulic clutch, self-adjusting. Until it wears out!
