Thinking about going to view this 300Tdi Discovery and was wondering how bad these sills are and a rough cost in replacing them from a garage and doing it yourself. Or are they to far gone? Both sides are similar apparently. Also how does the boot look.

Cheers for looking

That boot floor seems ok. But that sill is rubber ducked mate. Fully replacement needed. Not a massive job but neither is it small. If u aregonna with your hands, an angle grinder and a welding set then u should be able to do the job in a weekend.

Forget yrm and all those replacement parts. Box section and it wouldn't take that long to do initial job of the actual sills. .Painting an tarting up, if u consider all that maybe 3 days.

its not just the sills - its replacing those, you see the floor stiffeners, the holes in the floor and bulkhead and rear wheel arch - theres another couple of days .
