Hi I have a 2003 4s TDI

when it is wet, after a power wash or bout of heavy rain it makes a horrible griding noise when turning right.
Now and again it makes a clicking noise when turning left.
As soon as it is dry both disappear.
There is no noise atall when driving at any speed or in reverse

any ideas?
cheers

Is the clicking a single click or a series of them? Are you on full lock or part lock when it clicks and grinds?

Clicking groaning sounds check rear subframe

if it is clicking from the front when turning it is your driveshaft joint cvj usually if turning right it would be your left one and visa versa
