Hi. Both horns will not work when using either of the switches on the steering wheel. I've checked both the fuse under the dash and also the one in the engine compartment, and both are ok. The horns however do work when the alarm goes off. Any ideas? Thanks.

Different horn for the alarm I believe.

Problem is probably the horns themselves, they are located just behind the front grill and every time you use a hose or pressure washer to clean your vehicle water gets into them, I've replaced mine twice and now just buy the cheapest ones I can find coz Landrover ones are expensive and dont last.

Yeah, if you got water in the snail-scroll of the horn, they wont last long....
Try to replace with a Disc-horn...they are much more durable, although they dont sound as "nice"

Right, that explains it then. I'll try connecting one of the main horns direct to tha battery, if it's shot, then I guess some new ones are required. thanks for your help.

If the horns work with a direct feed then the rotary coupler under the steering wheel has been known to go faulty, although not that common, it may be just a wire has droped off.

Just want to say thanks for all your responses. Horn did not when direct to the battery. New horn fitted and works a treat. There only appears to be one horn on mine....is that right?
Cheers, Mark.
