So I guess on Thursday you will be buying a new radio after she has ripped the old one out...LOL.

Cheers

Let her drive it at night with the new ones for at least a week before coming to any decision on swapping back.
Keep t'old-uns in good nick as a fall-back.

Connect the new fairy lights to a remote switch (which you have control off!)... leave them activated when she looks at them from outside the car, but them disable them when she's driving.
This way she'll think they're rubbish and want the old better ones put back on ;)

Edit: Oh wait... it's you that likes the fairy lights!!!!

Haha! Stop confusing me!! As I've had a brain killing tablet! Don't know which ones ibfeckin like now!!
And they arent fairy lights !!! Hippos have fairy lights
Mine are manly LED fairy lights !!!

At last a sencible person with a sencible opinion
Thank you
And another thought for you. Suggest gently that the new lights are also improving the airflow thru the rad and helping keep the engine cooler, which is a big bonus.

Got 6X 7" light bars for the roof bar that'll be fitted once I've fitted the second alternator.

I accept your opinion !
Do you drive a range rover by any chance ?
As by the lack of empathy ,I believe you do

Graduated from a gaylander I berleeve?

Second alt as I want a 100% separate circuit for my aux systems and winching, not doing loads of winching at the mo but I do intend to be a lot more off road active this year, besides, bought the full kit from Gwynn Lewis last month and will fit it up when I do the cam belt on a dry weekend.

Big bar pulls 18A, original 200Tdi alt only kicks out 65A at full chat, not enough for all my lights and the heater let alone the stereo too :(

Got ya!!!!
Thinks I might have to look into that myself as my winch slows the fekin motor down it draws that much and once I've got it looking like Blackpool illuminations I'm going to be buggered!!
I will watch you very closely and learn from the master !!! Or I will learn from your mistakes ! Which ever is appropriate at the time!!!
