Sitting in the garage and they’re trying to tell me the hole in the passenger footwell is a fail as it’s structural. Never been a problem before! I had to explain the difference between a ladder frame chassis and a monocoque construction as they didn’t know the difference! I thing I’m going to need to book her in to a more Landy-friendly place tomorrow, they’re only 10mins into the test!

How rotten is the floor? could be classed as dangerous if a passengers foot went through it ?
It’s covered with an ali plate, so no Flintstone action going on. It didn’t get much further through the MoT anyway, they aborted the test because of some chassis rot. I believe that it could have passed, as there only need to be 6 secure mounting points between body and chassis (so I’ve read somewhere), but it need fixing anyway so I wasn’t going to argue.

I need to replace this section, the a-frame cross member.
