although off subject but simular,
the chinese have been making airbuses at 1 a week,
the aussies were building earlier ford cars,
the spanish built a copy of a series,
the list grows..
so come the end of production of the fender,
its taken to say iran, built out there,
and re imported as a 1 off over here..
lots of times..

Same as the original split screen camper. Can still get a spanking new one with any option you want fitted with interior to your own spec in the original shell imported from Mexico

we could do a thread with
"where are they made now"
then get anaraki and search out failed UK production lines,
for them to be built elsewhere.
not cars but also, romfords brewery closed 1993,
the site cleaned out, the production line was sold complete to.....
china...
just like rovers & mg`s..

Rover was screwed years ago, flash paint and alloy wheels on aged design were just a ploy to make it look like venture capital group weren't going to strip assets.
Even BMW got shot of rover

but that stopped in the mid 1980`s `ish.
