I have just purchased my first Land Rover so thought I should sign up and come and say hi .

Just purchased myself a bright red 1996 300tdi discovery.

I am from East Sussex near Eastbourne,

Luckily for me I am sort of in the trade so fixing stuff isnt too much bother and am really looking forward to getting stuck into my disco and putting my own stamp on it.

So far we have new rear shocks, manifold to head gasket, decat exhaust system.

Got a few more bits to do so I dont want to be one of those noobs who just comes on and asks loads of questions and then disappears .

Well a bit about me.

My name is Darren , been in the motor trade all my life and now working for RAC as a patrolman for the last 10 years. Football is my real love, supporting Brighton and Hove Albion for many years, My next love is Forza (xbox 360), I used to play lots of xbox 360 but since buying the landy that has calmed down and now enjoying the sunshine and getting things done, married with two sprogs too who also love the landrover as its our first its a bit of a novelty for them !!

Been married 10 years so she knows ....

Its her birthday tomorrow , right on the last game of the season.

So we are off to the Amex on her birthday and we are even sitting in different stands as I have a season ticket so she cant sit with me .... lol
