Afternoon all,
Questions, is it possible to change the front door hinge pins in place and if so how.
Cant seem to find much on google.
Its on a 3 door drivers side.

Remove footwell side trim to reveal plug couplers, disconnect and feed through hole in bodywork to allow door removal.
Tap out taper pin in door restraint strap.
Open door fully and remove 2 Circlip from hinge pins.
Lift off door, it is heavy!
Unbolt and replace hinges.
Replace is reverse of disassembly, as Haynes manual so often quotes!!!

I have not seen any circlips on the hinge pin and the one I tried to tackle is a solid pin
The clips are there.
See here. ;)

Make sure there is room to open the door to its fullest position as you can only lift it off when open due to the hinge design.
Good design to stop the doors falling off ! :D
Two people to lift or sommat will get scratched.

My strapping 17y old son as been told his helping by his mam so we should be good !
My only option is on the drive unfortunately but it’s very wide
Fingers crossed for the weather
