Hi all really stuck for ideas now, keep getting error 15,2 high speed crank on the nanocom whilst changing
Crank sensor
Wiring loom
Starter motor
Cleaned earth points
Changed the injector loom recently
Hopefully some of yous will be able to give me some inspiration on what to do next

I've tended to find 'high speed crank error' to be associated with the crank sensor. The cheaper ones do this, I discovered by trial and error. I got a somewhat more expensive branded one (I think it was a Lucas from memory) a few years ago and it's been fine since. The wire from the crank position sensor deteriorates too. I haven't had this myself but others have reported this. I've even seen some suppliers making a repair section, with a plug and some lengths of wire attached that you can solder into your wiring loom. I'm not saying that's the problem, but it is worth looking at.

No luck unfortunately. Bought an overlay and still didn’t work. Also changed the crank sensor with a genuine one that was working in another landy

OK then, that's the end of that idea. Is there any particular situation that tends to leave you with the error? In my case a run on the motorway was apt to give me a high speed crank error, whereas trundling to the shops at 30 mph wouldn't. Does it come up after high revving, for example?

Another thing that happens on TD5s is that the wiring loom between the accelerator pedal (or 'driver demand') and the ECU can deteriorate. This can show up as intermittent loss of revs and going into limp mode with the yellow engine light on. When this happened to me it was before I got my Nanocom so I don't know what error codes it gives. but it might involve some discrepancies between what the engine speed is doing and what it thinks it's getting from the accelerator pedal.

TD5 ECUs are apt to fail. Sometimes this means the car will not start at all, but it can also mean that you get odd faults with running, smetimes of an intermittent nature. I've not had one go wrong in exactly this fashion, but it wouldn't be impossible.
