Hi All

Have just replaced a front drivers side strut and was pleased how easily it all went.
However I now have a couple of problems:
1. The front end is sitting at max ride height.
2. There is a suspension inactive warning and no indicator light in the suspension selector switch.
I have driven the car for 15mins in the hope that things would settle - unfortunately it's still the same.

As usual, all help is appreciated.

Need diagnostics to reset the stored fault code, until then the EAS is locked out and no height changes will be carried out...this is why it is stuck in the air as the system has frozen

Sorry Hippo
Had posted before I saw your reply.
Is this something one of the ebay readers can cure?

OK Saint
Thanks for the reply.
Any idea what an indy might charge for this?

Cheers

Has to be LR specific device...cheapest is the All Comms from RSW Solutions...

Indy may charge £50 odd for a recalibration or reset.

Put your location down, someone might be local who has the gear who can do it for peanuts or even just a cup of tea!

I am in Co Down in Northern Ireland so specialist indies are probably few and far between. I do know of a few non specialists who would more than likely have readers but I would doubt they are LR specific.
Seems a bit of investigation is required.
Thanks for your help.

There are devices that will work like the SnapOn Solus but it has to be loaded with LR compatible software!

some diagnostic tools will give you a code but wont reset it, the all comms will and the lynx tool i believe and fault mate

Thanks for all the replies guys - found a local non specialist with a LR loaded Snap on.
He reset it only for the message appear again. He then found one of the height sensors had stuck or seized at max height but was able to free it up.
All good now.
Cheers
