It's the inertia switch which trips in an impact. It shuts off the fuel pump, puts the hazards on and unlocks all the doors (if locked). The button on top is to reset it if it's tripped, as Grrrr says.
 
Ta for the reply, I did eventually find the thing in the book. Is there a way on this site to specify just P38 specific stuff, I cant seem to be able to find a filter?

In the forum just click the P38 posts. Or in the search you need to go advanced.
 
Hi grrrr, ta for the info, I managed to figure it out in the end, so saved it on my favourites bar. A bit different to RR.net because they have a P38 specific button on the main page

They're such a bunch of lazy Bar**ards. If they're in a hurry or can't park, they take it back.

They have to come through the gates, then up my winding staircase.

Royal mail still haven't delivered it! Next day 3 days ago....... They don't like Rick-the-Pick s gates and stairs :)
