Hello everyone. I used to own a Land Rover Discovery V8 which I bought when we went to do a ski season in Chamonix, France. Never had to use snow chains once!

Had to sell it when we finally returned to the UK ... missing it now though.

Good thing Chamonix is flat & low, so you don't need chains too often.

We actually stayed just outside Chamonix town in a place called Les Bossons. Think the road was called Route De Mont and was a lovely ~45degree climb
