Hi, have never been on a forum before so this is all new to me! I am after some advice from fellow rangy lovers out there! My family already own a gorgeous V8 rangy and have decided to add to our family by purchasing a 1982 rangy with the intention of restoring it. The dilemma we have is that we have been told it has a 3-speed Chrysler Torqueflite A727 unit and have been told that they are worth some money. Our dilemma is do we sell it and use that money to fund a doner car to help the restoration or do we keep it. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks.

keep the trany it will only add value to a original restoration. Would you have a buyer for it if you sold it and I don't see many muscle cars in the uk that would want it. In the USA great possibilities

Thanks for getting back to me, to be honest haven't got a buyer, just wanted to see if it was worth doing to raise money for the project.
