That must have been a chilly trip!

Earlier in the thread, it was said about going for a drive at mersea. Any idea where to?

Cudmore Grove is the starting point. I imagine a pub will be the finishing point  . As for the bits in-between, well...

I have got a nice new pink map, fancy some gentle greenlanes? I'm easy (well, I am an Essex boy;) )

Hi all,

The best pub on Mersea is the Fox, on East Road. We can meet up at Cudmore and go to the pub!

Unfortunately, not much Greenlaning on Mersea

New avatar, Frosticles? Very nice

I know Pawprint can't get there until early evening, so a trip down the pub sounds like a sensible (?) idea. I still fancy a bit of a drive beforehand, though - maybe finishing on Mersea late afternoon. What do the rest of you think?

Hi all,

I couldn't get to Cudmore Grove until about 1.30, because our #$%^& washing machine packed up this morning and wouldn't spin or drain out .

I then got stuck in Colchester looking round the electrical shops and wasn't allowed to come home until I found the right one.

Then I had to pull out the old one and install the new one.

I drove round the car park and went past The Fox, but couldn't see anybody?

However I did see a green 110/108 tilt as I came across the Strood that I didn't recognise as bing a Mersea car??

errmmmmm .... I thought it were next weekend .... Just got back from the Isle of Wight

Pheck .... sorry chaps :(

That was probably me

It was a lovely day for it too! Seems the gods were against us, eh? I'm afraid the Landrovers were outnumbered by Jeeps at Cudmore on Sunday  . Not sure if I can make next weekend as it's my niece's birthday. There's a road-run from Heybridge to Maldon museum in early December, I'll be on that one though.
