Been lurking for a while. On my third Landy; the first was a Series III 88 inch I had 20 odd years ago. 2 years ago bought a Nice low mileage TD5 - growing family, rural lifestyle and mainly a daughter now old enough to take her horse to shows, meant something a bit bigger than my old X-trail was required. Good excuse to get another Landy I thought. After looking at 110s, nothing suitable in my price range came up, so I looked for a Disco and found a nice one 2004 Pursuit, with only 55,000 on the clock, FSH 2 owners -brilliant thought I.

All went well until in the St Jude's storm last year one of next doors trees decided to fall over and land smack on the top of my car! Aaaarrrrggghhh thought I: the car was officially dead, it was an ex Disco and I was gutted. Where on earth would I find a similar one, I didn't know where I would find a similar one, I didn't want a 3, I prefer the TD5. After three weeks of nothing with less than 100,000 on the clock in the adverts, I woke up on a Saturday to see one with 52,000 advertised in the West Country - we live in Sussex. A quick call ascertained 2 people were looking at it on the Sunday: six hours later, the weekend plans scrapped, and after a 400 mile round trip it was mine :). One owner from new, 2004 FSH, second/third car in an urban household, no children. It cost less than the previous one and is a Landmark to boot!

So 6 months later it has been all but faultless -slightly leaky sunroof, which the previous owner warned me about and sailed through its MOT last month. A lady driver did decide to drive into the back of it, but it was soon repaired, unlike her car! First horse show of the year next month, daughter now wants one - she's only 9, I do love Discos - happy days. I put some pics up later. The adventure continues............

Thought it time to add the pictures. Firstly the dead one with a tree on top!
