The Adventure starts here....

Just bought my first Land Rover - 1997 300TDI.
After many years driving a Jeep Wrangler in the Middle East - here I am driving a Land Rover in Yorkshire.
I don't know much about Land Rovers but my first impression is how strange the gear box is - Especially trying to find reverse :-D

Great fun to drive though!

Hiya Smoggy. Welcome to LZ, that a Disco or a Fender? My reverse gear and second are buggers until warmed up..

sorry all - No, not a Disco - Defender 90.

Is the reverse gear a common prob? Even when it's in - it's hard to pull out
