I have a Defender 90 300 TDI, I have bought some RX8 seats to replace the originals. Seen a bit online but wondered if anyone here has put them in?

Hi, welcome.
I replaced my seats with the RX8 seats. I grinded off all the brackets and then bolted the RX8 runners to lengths of 25mm steel box section which were then bolted to the original fixings. They are so much better than the originals. Only problem i have is getting to the battery as it means taking the seat out instead of just lifting the bottom section off.
