Hi i have a range rover vogue 2005 4.4 v8 lpg and the phone does not work on the radio button do I need a new cable or something in the boot as I have been on eBay and lots of pp are selling some kind of boxes for the phone to work but am not sure wat i need is there any where in Newcastle upon Tyne I could take it as I would love to get the phone side working again especially with the new law about answering your phone when driving cheers

Congrats on the new purchase, and if this is your only problem so far, you are doing well.....:D:D

I am not sure what is required as I had a Parrot system in my L322 which worked flawlessly....it may be better to fit one of those rather than try and get the older L322 electronics to pair with a modern phone (I know iPhones don't mix well with L322 unless you get a box of tricks)

I took it to a land rover dealers and thay weren't mutch help? Surely there is a box in the boot for the phone system that I can replace or something also I took it to a auto electric shop and he said it is easier to just fit a parrot system with a separate speaker because myn has the amplifier in and no this isn't the only problem I have lol the gearbox was refurbished about 20 odd thousands miles and it working itself already incorrect gear ratio in 3 gear thinking about getting rid already as I have a bmw x5 aswell had that about 4 years and had no problems with that except the door handles common fault tho

No need for an extra speaker on the parrot system....I too had the DSP amp system fitted in my 2003 L322 and the parrot worked flawlessly through the stereo, it would cut the radio and the parrot would use the full DSP system and amps for voice.

Also, if the CD player was running or the tape, it would pause those for the call and resume when the call finished.

That sounds OK he said when I got a call I would have to turn the sound down to take the call I could live with your set up because the sound would be mutch better through the car system cheers for that do you no ov any members up near me i could take it to to give it the once over as I no nothing about these motors but all the problems land rover seam to have lol
