Hi everyone
Just wanted to pick your brains...
Would these:

Be Abel to be welded on the the side step brackets:

to provide suitable jacking points for a hi lift Jack?
I really want to use the Jack & as I have the lift kit & big tyres the standard Jack can't lift it anywhere near enough to get the tyre off the ground.
What do you think?

Have a careful look at the side step mounts first - an awful lot of them just hook into holes that are in the inner face of the sill and have two M8 bolts on the inboard chassis rail. Yours look like this might be the case. They are designed to take 100kgs or so of weight pressing downwards, not a half ton lifting them upwards
I would be wary lifting a car by something so poorly attached. You might have to make better mounts for the step first.

Dont do it, the side step brackets aren't strong enough to take the weight of a car
