i have been a huge fan of land rovers for the past 30 years. I got into them when I joined the army and have driven them in just about every continent. I’m still serving now and saving like a man possessed to buy a defender as a gift to myself

saving for present for yourself, is no better incentive to save harder

don’t rush, get a good one and enjoy it
have a good look around the site there is loads of buying advise, and pitfalls.
