One year ago today I bought my discovery and have loved every sodding minute of it.
My sunroof leaks, the dash is rising up, the seats are worn, the back seats hate being refixed after I have laid them flat and it costs me a bomb to run.
But I will never go back to the other 4 wheel drives that i used to own.
I get a sense of pride driving the old warhorse and feel that i get more out of it as it needs me to care for it.
Anyways, this probably sounds stupid so ill shut up now.

I think that i spoke too soon. Had a head on on a week ago Friday and now the disco is in the grave yard .
Looking for another now, so if you know of any good 7 seater lpg's, let me know.
