Hi new to landrovers and thinking I've bitten off more than I can chew lol, picked up a 1974 series 3 yesterday with a big fat smile on my face but on the drive home not sure which one of us was more sick me or the lany! It was caughing and spluttering and then cut out it did start up again but dd this a few more times till I got home. Anyone any ideas?

Give it a good service, new filters, ignition leads, dizzy rotor cap and arm, oil, spark plugs and coolant and fresh petrol then see how you are go

Hi my battery live connection came off yesterday and when I placed it back I touched the air filter casing and made a big spark, now when I try to start her up she just colicky loudly from the bulk head area!! Any ideas as to what and why this is?
