Hi Guys...

Just joined the forum as we have a couple of landies... so thought best we did now..

Always loved them and been playing in them since knee high to a grass hopper, followed by the HMforces...

Anyway main reason for joining is so I can ask about legal active green lanes..... DON'T say Join GLASS... Am an outdoor instructor(self employed) have had no end of runnins with them SO an SO's always think they know best even when they are on the WRONG lanes(I mean NO vehical ACCESS ALLOWED also they bstated they was part or GLASS org)... So please if you are a member of GLASS and a nice one am sorry for this attitude but hope you do understand.. Anyway I digress...

So joined in the hope of finding a few nice lanes for my partner to drive(she has a freelander TD4) as she has just got in to in and loves it.... Any advice is welcome, Can be near or far(we are in Sheffield) doesn't really matter. And if we make a few friends on the way that's most excellent...

Have a look int green lane section for conversations which may answer yer questions.

I was going to say join GLASS.

Just because someone is a member of GLASS does not mean they know how to find and use lanes legally. You still need to use your brains and find out how to do it. Having said that, a lot of GLASS members are knowledgeable though, so why not find a local group and go along to a meet.

Alternatively , look on FB and find a local 4x4 / greenlaning group.
