Hi everyone. From london and currently dont own a landrover but have been thinking of buying one. Would be a project for 3 brothers and Would be used for a bit of everything really... camping trips/ dog walking/ fishing/ shooting. What would everyone recommend?? want something cheapish to get started with. Thanks for reading
 
Welcome to the forum, I'd look at 110's or series 3 109's if you want to sleep in it but bear in mind lez compliance
 
Hi. Not really looking to sleep in it. Would mainly be used for transporting our kit and generally getting muddy. Not much fun trying to squeeze 3nights worth of fishing kit into a small hatchback!! We also have permission to shoot on a farm where we camp
 
Something cheap that is mechanically sound but would need mainly cosmetic work or a unfinished project maybe. We live in london and would be taking it to cornwall and other long trips
 
Both Disco ones and twos might suit you better, engines and transmissions are fairly bomb proof if properly maintained but body rust is a repairable issue on ones and chassis rot is on twos. Any good with a welder?:D
 
Well I suppose there is a use for them somewhere , what ever you get make sure its a 300tdi disco or fender in my opinion. Cant go wrong cheap and reliable and relativity easy to fix just poke everywhere with a screwdriver to check for rust
