Download rave and buy yourself the haynes manual.....your going to need them both sooner or later and the haynes will take you through how to do this.
Also your going to need a torque wrench that goes upto 300ftlbs for replacing the driveshaft nut.:welcome2:
Cv joints are not to bad to change if you have decent mechanical skills. I bought a set off the net for around £20 each. Quality parts too. I will post he website when im near my pc.
you can get the outer cv joints £20 ish no problem if it's an inner your looking at £170 ish for the cv or £350 for a new driveshaft as you can only get them from a main stealer for the later td4 ones but I don't know about the earlier ones
