New to the scene so thanks for having me just bought a 300tdi es disco having an issue with what I believe to be altenator 12v at the battery but only 10.81 when running . Will bump start and stay running but wont turn over ??

Yeah battery on charge and with 12v in it it wont turn over. Will bump but not turn . Very odd

Hello and welcome
battery should have a minimum of 12.6v charged and left for half hour and alt should put out minimum 13.9 to 14.7 under load depending on what voltage rectifier is fitted.

Problem solved. Altenator being replaced tommoro thanks guys for your help
