Aye well? Welcome an that. Careful on the website aboot Gaylanders. The highlands are a huge area where more specifically but generally are too. Like automatic gearboxes but not on landys. The test will be winter and snow. Load of help on the forum.

As stated above...winter will be interesting. Keep a hammer handy for the rear brakes

Plenty oh single track roads here, and with eh added snow in winter, things can get interesting.
Let eh fun begin.

I have added a wee issue to eh Freelander section of eh forum. Bloody tailgate is all I’ve got till say about this ene.

Can't help with that. Don't know independent landy garages up north. Salvage yards? I say get yerself a real landy like a beat up series or defender where you can really spend money!

Hi, tomorrow I pick up my Freelander TD4 S from Falkirk and drive it up to Aberdeenshire - hoping it all goes well!
