At last...
After owning a lovely little series 3 some time ago and selling it for a song, regretted it ever since, now awaiting arrival of E reg 110 that looks good as nearly new! Had a bit of a heart issue and decided you know what? What the hell was I waiting for, can't wait to drive LR again. Took some pleading, persuading etc with the other half.
Looking at beefy security but can anyone recommend good insurers?
Hear green laning is a dead duck in Sussex, so where's the nearest pleasant runs, don't think I can 'off road' the new baby just yet but a gentle romp through the countryside would be great.

Wishing you the very best of luck with the 110.
I have two, both 110s and both from 1988, both with alarms, steering locks and Rat traps.
Unfortunately, due to them having some minor mods and having previously insured them in the past, Adrian Flux have decided they will no longer insure them.
One reason given for one of my vehicles was "There is no market for insuring this vehicle" .
This year and for the second vehicle, no reason was given (after five years of cover without claim etc.).
I'll be looking for a Company that covers modified vehicles from now on.
If you have any mods to your 110, like wheels or a roof rack, don't waste your time with Flux.
I'm looking elsewhere and suggest you do the same..
Be lucky

David
