Finally managed to join , looking forward to tapping into everyone’s knowledge re series Landrover. I absolutely love mine and brings a smile to my face every time we go on an adventure.
Mixed with a pinch of back ache, ( need better seats) / suspension.
All best Paul

Best of all compliance to ulez in the big smoke so saves £12.50/day = Win. At most streets in London are 20mph (if your lucky) so no problem speed wise 😉
Hi,
How does your landie meet the ULEZ regs may I ask? There are murmurings we might be heading the same way and the propaganda seems to be focussed on newish cars = no problems. My landie is 1972 and might cough a bit on starting occasionally but generally purrs along with no visible emissions and I would bet all my pocket money that she is in better nick than some of the stuff on our local roads.
Are you by chance the series three driving round Tooting with a palm tree on board?

All historic vehicles (over 40 years old with no substantial alterations) are ULEZ exempt, as long as you register them as historic.

Blimey as simple as that. Excellent news. I did trawl through some stuff on it but the last article I read was more about fines and paying for them. I guess registration options will appear when the local authority begin to implement it. Thanks for that.

You need to make sure your vehicle is registered in the historic tax class with DVLA. If u search it on the forum there's loads of info :)

Such cynicism 😎 The changes around Exeter have caught many, many people out, a very poor consultation process, and fines are being issued all over the place. ULEZ is coming but I strangely feel better about it now.
