Just popping my head out of the warren to say hi.

I've got a big black 110 TD5 from 1999. I have had her for nearly two years now, love her, and she will be in the family 'till I'm in a pine box!

What I'm interested in is using Biodiesel (not SVO) Does this work or not? Can I reduced by generous donations to Gordon, and indeed funding to great multinationals or would I just end up donating the money saved to Bosch when my injectors gum up?

Any experiences from TD5 owners very gratefully received.

bio diesel is ok to use, it only contains a low percentage of rape oil so it doesn't clog up yer pump ;)

Does this include B100 into a td5? I know B5 is unavoidable in Gay Paris and no history of bad news either. Also I have heard that all of the PD kitted German cars (Audi, VW,Skoda etc ) are acknowledgeing B100 as a non warranty voiding fuel. I know i am sounding windy but I don't want to save £200 on fuel having bought £1000 worth of kit and then pay another £1,500 for a set of new injectors:eek: .

If only LR would give some positive information:rolleyes:

that will never happen i am sure the government pays manufacturers to keep quiet about bio fuels as they lose their precious taxes on it . if you ask dealers about bio diesel they look at you as if you are from a mental hospital, i'm sure they don't even know what it is ;)

Too true,

I quizzed the local LR main dealer here about the fact that Toyota here say no way to bio fuels yet in the far east its OK. No sensible answer back tho!
