I'm about to dive into the world of Defender ownership!

I'm looking for a 110 station wagon for 3k (ish) My only stipulation is it needs to have some recent service history and a decent chassis, and a couple of months MOT! I can deal with the rest!

There are a couple on ebay but they are about 300 miles away and I don't fancy driving that far to find out it's a Lemon!

I guess I'm looking at 1995ish model. I need Air Con though. What models and years was it fitted in.
