LOL was perfectly acceptable in Northampton and London. Don't think it was invented when I lived in Cumbria... Anyway, if we had a few more smilies I wouldn't need to use it.

Weird, 'cos you sound like you're from London. And your mechanic is definately from London, 'cos I remember her.

I quite like LOL. Never mind, I can't be that bad as I don't drive a Gaylander. Or a Disco come to that.
