Hi all, The name is explained by Scottish ancestry but bought up in South London. Now living near Melksham.

Recently bought a 1997 Rangie HSE with LPG. Expected to have to spend some more cash on her but not too bad up to now.

Here's one for you. Any ideas about replacing the car phone? Theres a SCN 2636A handset linked to a MC2-41E15 mobile - both Motorola. Mobile is worse for wear and can only be charged in the car.

Interesting rather than desperate.

Hi Landybird, I'm in Holt - half way between Melksham and Bradford on Avon.

Tomorrow, we're off to Cornwall with the P38 and the caravan. Today, of course, completely dead battery! So I changed to my spare off the old Disco, Used the key code to get in, managed to start it and put the original battery on charge.

Also, disconnected the fob receiver as per posts on this site.

I expect to have to jump start her in the morning and am hoping the run down to St Austell will charge things up. I am taking the other battery with me though.

Perhaps we can meet up when I get back.
