Hi
Just to introduce myself. I am a Project Manager for a small charity who teach less advantaged kids motor mechanics. We currently have 10 new boys who are working on a complete restoration of two Series 3 landys. Both Landys have 5 boys on each the vehicles were bought on E-bay and driven in to our workshop. After 4 weeks and a lot of hard work we are down to the bare chassis. Not bad when you consider these kids had never held a spanner before and had been excluded from school for a number of reasons. My other instructor has worked with Land Rovers all of his life and can rebuild one with his eyes shut well thats what he tells me.
Anyway its a great project but we could do with some help as one of the Rovers needs a new chassis. We can repair the other one as it has had a new rear. We also need a bulkhead for the other any will do as we can also repair but this one has gone to far at the top above the grills.
Any info on where we can aquire a chassis and bulkhead would be appreciated. We are not goverment funded so cash is very tight but once finished we hope we can sell them to help the project stay alive.
Please dont get me wrong this is not a begging letter as I will keep you all updated with pictures on our progress.

shame ya didn't ask a couple of weeks ago as you' ve just missed Newbury 4x4 autojumble. Always a good place for cheap parts

Worth asking some of the big suppliers or mags. Sure they would consider featuring them and donating parts. Sure they have stuff knocking about from projects.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome and advice. I will try all things suggested. Yes pity I missed Newbury as I live not to far up the road.
