Hi.
Im Ritchie and i live in the durham area.
Always fancied a disco and finally i got around to getting one.
Its an old L reg but as the say the old ones are the best,
well so i have been told
Im not sure if my disco will be the mk 1 or 2 any advice would be great.

L is 1993/1994, which is around when they changed from 200TDI to 300TDI. East to spot the difference - the grille is different (square headlamps and grille surrounds them on the 200, slightly bigger rectangular headlamps on the 300). It will be a Discovery 1 though.

hi mate , stick with you d1 even if things go wrong , which they will its a landy , make sure its had a cambelt change check your oil levels and you should be ok , dont do as i did and start with a d1 and then think you want more toys and buy a d2 , i had nowt but trouble when i went down this road , lost loads of cash when i paid 7k for a low mile 2001 td5 es which just drove me round the bend as it spent more time on the back of a rac truck than on the road , once i managed to sell that i bought a 1995 d1thats done 205k miles no toys to go wrong paid £650 off ebay and am well happy with it , regards andy
