hi all. davey here (aka the hairy arsed highlander) from up in scotland. been looking at this site for a while now getting some inspiration. bought a 1987 range rover vogue at the weekend for £500. was pretty tatty looking but came with a receipt for a full engine rebuild costing £2300. it was done in 1999 with 114000 miles on the clock. its sitting at 120000 now but stopped turning about a year ago. couple of months t&t left on it. i resprayed it in scania yellow last night at the bodyshop where i fit my windscreens. done the wheels white, stickered it up and cleaned the inside. ordered a set of greenway macho 235/85x16 the other day and ordering a 2" lift kit in a few days. has anyone used these macho tyres? i've got colway mud terrains on my hilux and they're great. just hoping the machos perform as well off road or i'll be kicking myself. anyway, thanks for reading my waffle and i'm sure i'll chat with some of you again. cheers.

welcom old bean, you can't beat a yellow landie, we are a select few, enjoy the banter but beware of a few that have had a sense of humour bypass ;)

wayhey! my 1st reply! and by a yellow landy owner! looking forward to meeting these "sense of humour bypass folk". they're a right laugh. you can wind em up so easily :D
